Great mix!

This was a cool little song. I really liked the way that dive (I'm going to guess it was a cello) worked with the bass and keyboard. Very cool. But parts of it sounded like generic dance music, especially the thumping beat that's in every dance song ever. Haha, but it was cool. Good job, keep it up.

JohnLeprechaun responds:

Yeah, I'm most definitely going to go back and fix some things. I realize now that this song is very boring, so I'll have to spice it up some. Thanks for the review, I appreciate it.

Cool

The shit, as always. Lol, is everyone using DigiTech, btw? Just looked, you're usinbg a RP250, DEthkllr84 is using an RP250, I'm getting an RP350... awesome. But yeah, great cover, keep em coming! WE NEED MORE METAL!! \m/

Deathcalypse responds:

Ha thanks man! It is a pretty good modeling guitar processor

Cowboys in Space!

Woah... That bass/guitar thing, whatever that is, is really spacey. Did you use some sort of phaser/wierd echo or reverb? Kinda wierd sounding, and too short. Try redoing that guitar (I think) part (NOW THAT YOU CAN!!! :D) and it'll be a cool song. Oh, and loop it once or twice. Maybe.

CarlTheVoiceactor responds:

I figured it might be a little too short :P Thanks for the idea and the guitar is a preset wild west glide guitar in the program.

Great improv man. Congratz on getting accepted. Nice distortion, not to much, to cover the tone, but enough to give it a nice fuzz. Excellent use of disonance, not easy to do in an improv, and great articulation. Especially loved the voice, like how you used bends and slurs. Great all around.

VincentElric responds:

Thank you very much for your feedback, much appreciated.
If you're curious I use a Roland Cube 60 for my distortion.

Getin' Medival... or Whatever

Cool song. Sounds like a kinda electronic take on medival cathedrals. Reminds me of a combination of Dragon Quest and Castlevania. Love those games. Anyways, loved the cool echo effect at around 0:30. Cool. Keep em' comin'!

smilingpig67 responds:

Haha, thanks for the review!

Great song, man! Awesome riffs, loved eq. And those drums... So many people don't understand good thrash drums, usually they have way too much crash or snare, but these had the right balance. The slow part was creepy, but in a good way. Really added to the atmosphere. Great work, can't wait for more!

Deathcalypse responds:

Thank you! I've been doing alot of work on getting a good balance for the drums. I turned up some of the cymbals though because i noticed that they were a tad bit too quiet.

Great!

Great song, very good atmosphere, and a great flow throughout. Except, the transition into the solo was a little rough. But otherwise, great song!

SlaveLabor responds:

What can I say, It's supposed to surprise the shit out of you. Thanks for the review

\m/!!

Awesome!

Awesome song! The acoustic was good, the electric was even better, and a sloid bass line and rhythm (drums). It did start to repeat after a while, but I can overlook that since most songs do. It also kinda sounds like you had a little too much disstortion in the electric, but that's an easy mistake to make. Good song, I hopw for more!

Mushroomhead18nc responds:

thanks for the review but there is no acoustic guitar or bass guitar in this song And I used Fruity Loops 5 for the drums. IT wouldnt be too repetive If I could find someone to sing and put in some lyrics/vocals. I use a Crate GT65 Amp so that would explain your mass distortian and I like it that way =). but I appreciate the review

Nice

I love the sound of all your music, and Happy Birthday, LadyArsenic. Lol, I'm listening to all your music in 1 day. Oh well, that only means it's a good day. Lol. By the way, nice guitar. I'm an acoustic guitarist myself, and it's a lot harder than electric. Great song, can't wait for your next.

MaestroRage responds:

I hope you arn't disappointed by the end of the day :D! I fully agree with you on the electric guitar bit D:. Both instruments have their challenges, like the fast runs you have to do on the electric guitar, but understanding the styles and realistic flairs of an acoustic guitar had me going all hours into the night. I'm still pretty sure I put down chords and note progressions which are technically impossible, but I was pretty satisfied with it by the end!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Nice, and very calming...

Nice song, great instrumentation, and I like the lyrics. The vocals sounded a little flat, but it still had a very nice sound. I know it's not easy to make a song, so you have my props. It makes me a little sleepy, but that's fine... *yawn* Lol. I'm not implying the song is boring, it's just very calming. Nice song, I hope to see more. Oh, and you sound like you don't hit those high note real well, so you might try a little deeper sound next time. I bet you would be good as a bass.

Bosa responds:

I am bass. Thanks for the tips, though. They are greatly appreciated.
