Awesome!

Awesome song! The acoustic was good, the electric was even better, and a sloid bass line and rhythm (drums). It did start to repeat after a while, but I can overlook that since most songs do. It also kinda sounds like you had a little too much disstortion in the electric, but that's an easy mistake to make. Good song, I hopw for more!

Mushroomhead18nc responds:

thanks for the review but there is no acoustic guitar or bass guitar in this song And I used Fruity Loops 5 for the drums. IT wouldnt be too repetive If I could find someone to sing and put in some lyrics/vocals. I use a Crate GT65 Amp so that would explain your mass distortian and I like it that way =). but I appreciate the review

Nice

I love the sound of all your music, and Happy Birthday, LadyArsenic. Lol, I'm listening to all your music in 1 day. Oh well, that only means it's a good day. Lol. By the way, nice guitar. I'm an acoustic guitarist myself, and it's a lot harder than electric. Great song, can't wait for your next.

MaestroRage responds:

I hope you arn't disappointed by the end of the day :D! I fully agree with you on the electric guitar bit D:. Both instruments have their challenges, like the fast runs you have to do on the electric guitar, but understanding the styles and realistic flairs of an acoustic guitar had me going all hours into the night. I'm still pretty sure I put down chords and note progressions which are technically impossible, but I was pretty satisfied with it by the end!

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Lol

Dude, all your music is awesome. And I'm pretty sure 1/4 of them are in the top 50. I say 1/4 because you seem to have like 100 of them, and I'm sure all 100 are great. Thanks for all the great submissions.

Awesome!

Awesome song, very good for dancing, and my props for the 2 solos in there. I bet those were really hard to both compose and to play. I lvoe this song!

You're my Fav!

Great song. I loved it. Dude, I've only listened to 2 of your songs, but I added you to my Fav Artist list (you're the only one on there... for now). Oh, and by the way, if you go back and read you're response to my earlier review, no, Universal Combat is not a popular game anymore. It really wasn't popular to begin with, but it's a fun game. Thanks for all the great submissions!

Nice, and very calming...

Nice song, great instrumentation, and I like the lyrics. The vocals sounded a little flat, but it still had a very nice sound. I know it's not easy to make a song, so you have my props. It makes me a little sleepy, but that's fine... *yawn* Lol. I'm not implying the song is boring, it's just very calming. Nice song, I hope to see more. Oh, and you sound like you don't hit those high note real well, so you might try a little deeper sound next time. I bet you would be good as a bass.

Bosa responds:

I am bass. Thanks for the tips, though. They are greatly appreciated.

Hell-llez to the yeah!

Awesome. Nothing short of it. That is all I can say without taking up the entire page and pissing all the past reviewers off. Thanks for the great submission, I can't ait for your next song!

Metalcan responds:

Thanks a lot! Glad you like it! \m/

Nice!

I love this song, and I have it on my MP3 player (the orginal version, not this one). This comes damn near close, and my only complaint would be that the vocals are missing, but I see from and early review you have a crappy mic, so I can't in any way be mad at you for that. The sounds quality is a little sucky at times, there is a lot of static and wierd distortion effects, but I love it. Keep up the great work!

himenow responds:

I used line-in through record, but again, I have onboard sound, with a high latency, and I didn't know much about record guitar and mastering then.
If I re-record it now, it'll sound better.

AWESOME!

Man, I absolutely LOVE this song! The remix is awesome, and by that, I mean worthy of awe. I bet this took forever, but hearing it, I hope you think it was worth it. Thanks for the awe-worthy submission!

Noice!

Very Noice! Yes, I mean noice, not nice. Lol. Excellent piece, I love the orchestration (I'm pretty sure that is how you spell that), and as a member of a real classical band (Trombone!), I really like to hear this kind of music on the portal. It is very reminiscent (I'm also sure that's how you spell that) of Halo, or (if anyone remembers or knows the game) Universal Combat. Excellent, this song alone makes me with the game had come out. By the way, nice poem. Thanks for the submission (I should stop using big words I'm not 100% clear on how to spell)!

MaestroRage responds:

I did some research on Universal Combat, just the music on their website was awesome... I wonder if it's still a popular game? If people are still playing online i'd definitely consider buying it.

I never considered it, but it does kind of remind me of halo. Halo had some nice tunes. The game had potential, we just didn't have the man power to carry it out. Ah well, live on and go on right?

You're quite welcome for the piece, thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!
